✅ 1. Recommended Leather Types
（1）Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Features: Naturally tanned, free from harmful chemicals; produces clear, natural engraving results.
Advantages: Strong color contrast, ideal for deep engraving and dyeing.
Best for: High-end crafts, custom leather goods.
✅Highly recommended!
（2）Chrome-Tanned Leather
Features: Soft, available in various colors, more affordable.
Note: Contains heavy metals and chemicals; may emit toxic fumes when heated.
Recommendation: Use with caution and only with proper ventilation and exhaust systems.
（3）Synthetic Leather (PU or PVC)
Features: Man-made, inexpensive, wide variety.
Risks: Often contains chlorine (especially PVC); laser cutting can release toxic gases (e.g., chlorine) that harm health and damage equipment.
