Laser cutter machine is one of the most mature industrial laser applications. It uses a high-power laser beam to melt and vaporize materials, and blows away the slag with auxiliary gas to achieve efficient and accurate cutting. CO2 lasers and fiber lasers are currently the mainstream equipment, suitable for cutting medium and thin plates of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other materials. The advantages of this technology are narrow cutting seams, small heat-affected zones, no need for molds, and quick change of processing paths. It is particularly suitable for high-demand industries such as automobile manufacturing, sheet metal processing and aerospace.

 

Laser welding machine relies on the high-speed melting of metal materials by laser beams to achieve connection, and has the characteristics of large penetration depth, fast speed and low heat input. Common welding modes include continuous laser welding and pulsed laser welding, which are suitable for thin plate precision welding and deep fusion welding scenarios. Compared with arc welding, laser welds have high strength and small deformation, and are suitable for power battery packaging, stainless steel device welding and nuclear power structure manufacturing. Especially in battery manufacturing, laser welding has become the mainstream connection method.
